Has anyone else noticed when selecting a playlist in Spotify that say has for example 12 songs when linking to your Google nest it immediately adds 20 or 30 additional songs that you can't remove from the playlist. I've reached out to Spotify and that was absolutely no help and I've been not been able to find any help here in the community so I'm hoping somebody else has experienced this. I have a Spotify premium account it's a simple playlist to 12 songs and the minute I connect to Google nest to cast it decides to add 20 or 30 additional songs that cannot be removed. Again any help greatly appreciated

There is a setting in the Spotify app called Autoplay, it's purpose is to keep playing similar songs once your playlist or requested song ends. Turn it off. You may also want to clear the app cache for the Spotify app.

Ive done that. and I've removed the app, rebooted, reinstalled. I've cleared the cache and repeated the same. Its only happening when connecting to my nest speakers.

How are you starting the playlist? Voice? Spotify app? If voice, are you sure it is playing your playlist and not a Spotify playlist with the same/similar name. Also have you tried unlinking and relinking Spotify in the Home app.

I started from the Spotify app. I have recreated the playlist to ensure there is no extra songs. I have unlinked and re-linked the account. I have tried for my tablet. I have tried for my phone. I have tried from a computer. I've tried from voice I've tried from every media I can think of and it all happens to be when linking and playing through the nest audio. If I connect to my Bose system it doesn't add extra songs. I don't have any extra settings enabled allowing it to enhance the playlist I don't have any extra settings that I could find they would allow for any additional music to be played that's why it's so confusing.
