For years using multiple google home speakers, I've always wanted an ability to lock/sync all speakers in a group to the same volume level, and move together accordingly. When using volume controls (which were made worse and less convenient in Android 12), the speakers often end up in drastically different volume levels. I can count on one hand the number of times I want each speaker in a group to be a different volume level. Instead, I consistently want each speaker to be the exact same volume level, and move up or down in volume together, but often have to do this manually. If a "volume sync" option were added to speaker groups, it would be hugely appreciated.

I just want to bump this message since i would like to have the same thing.
What would be great imo, is the option to sync the devices in the app, and lock them together.
And if i change the volume on 1 device through the buttons or screen, it changes the volume on all devices in the group.

No real questions. I suspect this is an issue that Google is well aware of and the only fix is beating Sonos in court (or selling my google home speakers, and getting Sonos ones because it's frustrating to constantly adjust my speaker groups one speaker at a time...)
