This issue have been reported before and the threads locked without resolution. I have also submitted a help request personally and been given the run-around by support, the ticket also being closed with no resolution.
Will someone from Google at least publicly acknowledge this issue and stop asking questions that have been answered repeatedly, only for communication to cease when people do provide additional answers.
The functionality of these devices has already been so severely limited from what it was when I bought them, they are now nothing more than very expensive bluetooth speakers that can tell me the weather and set a timer.
