Google Hub max camera not connecting/shows as offline

Pretty regular basis, I lose connection.

Have seen a number of threads on this and go through the device removal from Home, factory reset, then reconnect.

This works but then weeks later I have to do it again.

Is there a better solution or something else I can do? This is very annoying.

Thanks

Hey WAK4,

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you — let’s check what’s going on.

A few questions: do you have another Nest camera set up in your household? If so, are you also streaming it when our Google Nest Hub Max camera goes offline? Also, what's the exact message you're seeing on your display?

Give these steps a whirl:

  1. Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router.
  2. Try rebooting your Nest Hub Max and router for  a minute to refresh the connection.
  3. Ensure the privacy switch on the back of the device is not switched on.
  4. Force close and re-open the Google Home App.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Alex
