Hey SirHaschke,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your Google Nest Mini that keeps on unlinking on your account. I'd love to dig deeper into this - when did the issue start? Have you experienced WiFi issues lately? Please check the Google Home App feed history to see if there is any recorded activity of the device being unlinked from the Google Home app. Also, reset your device by following the steps below:

  • On the side of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi SirHaschke,

Thanks for visiting our community.

Sorry to hear about what's happening with your Google Nest Mini. If your speaker or display is connected to an existing Wi-Fi network, but you'd like to connect it to a new one, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. At the top right corner, tap Settings and then Device information.
  4. Next to "Wi-Fi," tap Forget. You’ll be taken back to the Home app home screen.
  5. Follow the setup steps to set up your device on the new Wi-Fi network.

If you get an error message that says "could not communicate with your [device]" when you try to forget your network, or the steps above don't work, you'll need to factory reset your device and set it up again.

Princess
