Need Nest Hub to ONLY Play Music, Not Videos

I've read this a bunch in other threads but I haven't seen a concrete fix for it yet.  I'd like my Google Home Display (Nest Hub?) to ONLY play music, not videos.  I have a YouTube Music Premium subscription.  I have my default music player set to YouTube Music.  I have videos turned off in the display content filter, and in the YouTube app.  But still, when I say "hey Google play some music on YouTube Music" it will play one or two songs then it will play the music video version of all songs after that.  How can I get it to JUST play the music versions, not the music video versions?

Hello jaghuerta,

Thank you for posting. I understand how frustrating it can be when certain features don't work properly. To address your concern, I suggest trying the following steps to see if they resolve the issue:

  1. Open the YouTube Music app and ensure you're signed in to your account.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings.
  3. Tap Playback and restrictions and toggle Don't play music videos on.

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
