Nest Hub Max led shadow?

I have several Nest Hubs and at low light settings, the screens remain consistently illuminated without ‘hot spots’. HOWEVER my new Nest Hub Max shows the led light sources on the left of the screen on settings 1-4. Is this a hardware fault or is this just how it is? Weak sauce if so…

Hi Mullion,
 

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out. Try to do a factory reset on  your Google Nest Hub Max, and then set it up. Let me know how it goes.
