Nest Hub periodically switches from English to Mandarin

Hi, I installed my Nest Hub roughly a month ago and like it overall. But on multiple occasions, without warning or any apparent cause, the display suddenly switches from English to Mandarin. The voice is still in English, but the display itself is in Chinese characters. Weird.  Invariably, within 24 hours or so, it switches back to English. But then a couple of days later it will do it all over again.

A factory reset doesn't fix the issue. Any clue on what is happening?

Hi Tillmore,

That’s odd! Is there a second Assistant language set in the Google Home app? Open the Google Home app > Settings > Google Assistant > Manage all Assistant settings > Languages. Remove secondary languages if there’s any, then reboot your Google Nest Hub. Monitor its behavior and let us know how it goes.
