Nest audio music playback volume is really low

The music play back volume is really low. The volume control from my pho e makes no difference. Even cast audio volumes are low.

I have power cycled all devices still the same. I cycled the mics also.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: when did it begin? Were there any recent changes made? What is its distance from your Wi-Fi router? 

Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

This issue appears to be linked to the casting feature. When somebody casts to these devices the volume ducks down to give space for the cast audio. However, the speakers never restore back to normal volume control as the broadcast does not seem to end. I have to restart my router to fix this. The speakers share a room with o e of the mesh network pods (a nest WiFi system which is showing great connectivity when tested)
