Nest hub won’t show me camera in specific room

When I say “show me xxxx room”, or “stream xxxx room”, or “show the camera in xxxxx room” the hub either shows me the speaker in her room or does a google search and shows me a restaurant with a similar name.

Maybe one in ten times or less will it shows me the camera that I want to see, but it definitely works occasionally. It used to work 100% of the time and stopped about a year ago and has been driving me crazy.

I can always see the camera when I select it with the touch screen, or if I use my phone to open it on the home app, so I knows it’s working

The commands you're using are correct, however, I'd like to confirm if the Google Nest display acknowledges your commands. Once you say the commands, does it confirm that it would stream or show the camera on your Google Nest display?

Let's start these steps first and see if this would make any difference:

1. Reboot your Google Nest display and router - unplug it from the power source for a few minutes
2. After a few minutes, plug all the devices and wait for it to completely reboot.
3. Say the command, "OK Google, sync my devices".
4. After that, use the same commands and check if the cameras are showing on the display.
