Nest speaker alarm doesn't stop after 10 minutes

Hello,

based on the documentation I can find online it seems that an alarm set in a Nest speaker should only ring for 10 minutes max before stopping.    I have found that this is no longer true and an alarm will continue to ring indefinitely until manually stopped. 

Is there a way to set the time limit or will the alarm now always ring continuously (potentially for hours) until stopped manually?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
 

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. Which Nest speaker/display do you own? Alarms If not stopped or snoozed, alarms ring for 10 minutes. You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest speaker/ display for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal. Once everything is back online try the feature again.
