No music

I have an LG WK7 smart speaker and have been using it for a couple of years with my streaming music service, currently Deezer. For some reason tonight it will not play any music from the service. It is still connected to the internet, and Google assistant is still working. However when I connect to start streaming music it just gets stuck and won’t play anything. I can cast my audio, but I don’t want to have to do that all of the time as I’d rather the speaker took over and I could still use my phone for other things. Has anyone seen anything similar to this and has ideas how to solve? I’ve tried resetting the device and re adding it to the home, but no luck!

Please note that we have very limited support on third party speakers with built-in Google Assistant like LG speakers. You might need to reach out to them for better assistance.

 

Speaking in behalf of our Google Home/Nest speakers and displays, if the issue is isolated to Deezer then it is possible that the issue is from the music service itself and not with your LG speaker device.
