Hey Guys
I have a heap of deta smart light switches in the house connected through grid connect. They can be seen in google home and controlled, but they are not recognised as 'lights' in the google home app. So if I want to say, turn off all lights, it finds none. I can say turn off the specified light e.g. turn off bedroom 1, turn off kitchen and it works. but it doesn't recognise as lights. I've tried changing the device type from switch to light but still nothing.
Any suggestions?

Hello alexi82,
Thanks for visiting the Community.
Sorry for the late response. Please note that Google Home will recognize your device based on the information provided by the native app. Also, changing the device type within the Google Home app does not necessarily mean that you can control them as lights.
In this case, I recommend using the command "Turn off all the switches" instead of "Turn off all the lights." Since the Google Home app recognizes your devices as switches, this command should work effectively to control them collectively.
Please give this alternative command a try and let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Cheers,
Muddi
