Speaker light on

On my mini rough Google speaker the lights come on randomly through the night. It's currently on one light. I've checked the wires and the connection is fine it's really annoying

That's definitely annoying, especially since it's happening infrequently. Since you've checked the physical connection and common triggers, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

 

Resetting Nest Mini (2nd Gen):

 

  1. Unplug the Nest Mini from power.
  2. Hold the mute button for 15 seconds.
  3. While still holding the mute button, plug the Nest Mini back in.
  4. Release the mute button after you see the lights start to pulse.
  5. The Nest Mini will reset and restart.
