I just got my google nest mini. Initially during purchase at store I tried the Google Nest Mini with Wireless LTE Modem Huawei E5877 and it is working charm, the pairing process is straight forward. Once I am at home, the Nest Mini is unable to connect to almost all of my home router. I had 4 wireless router to test:
1. Huawai AX3 - fail, I did try WPA3, WPA2-PSK, split 2.4GHz and 5GHz nothing worked.
2. Totolink N200 - fail, I did try WPA2-PSK, WPA-Mixed, nothing is working.
3. TPLink WER650 - fail
4. Airport Express - fail
All returned message on the Home App: "Connection problem during setup". During connection process I checked the web administration console of the router, the Google Nest Mini is getting IP from DHCP, it is connected, but then gone.
The only worked for me now is using Huawei EG8245H5 and Wireless LTE Modem Huawei E5877.
Please kindly help, is it wireless issue or my google nest issue?
