Using IOS Google Home, I created a Speaker Group containing my Chromecast and Nest Audio Pair. From the App, if I go to Music, I can select The Speaker Pair by itself, Chromecast by itself, or the group. All three work.
When I am watching Disney+ on my TV via the Chromecast that is in the same group as above, my only Audio casting option within the app is my Chromecast by itself, limiting the audio to the TV speakers.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi there,
Casting to speakers or speaker groups is only currently available for audio, you can not spilt the audio from a video steam and have it cast to other devices.

Wow…then I just blew some money on two nests and a chromecast thinking the problem was my Nvidia Shield. I’m still stuck with TV speakers. What a scam. Nest Audio shouldn’t show video based apps as “being supported” when in reality the only thing you can do is control programs via voice…that would make sense for a remote…but people expect speakers to you know…play sound. Very misleading.
