I have a problem going on since I think more than a year now. I have a google home and a google home mini set up in my house. When I ask to add something to my shopping list they say that they don't recognize my voice 9 times out of 10. The remaining 1 time the item are supposedly added but not to any of the list I can find in the google home app or assistant app or keep app.
I tried redoing the voice match multiple times, but it's not actually a problem related to that I think: if immediately after they tell me that they don't recognize my voice for the shopping list I ask them who I am they correctly answer. Same if I answer other personal things: they recognize me when I ask my google calendar entries, if I play music it goes on my spotify account... no problem whatsoever.
I set up things with android. My girlfriend uses Ios and she does not have any problem at all. She's recognized all the time (then again it's hard to find where is the list where the item are added, but that's another problem).
If it may be important, everything is set up in italian.
