I have another Nest Hub and when I ask it to play white noise it will play uninterrupted all day. I just bought this new one and it randomly stops. Sometimes 10 minutes after it starts. Other times hours later. Is the device defective?

I'm sorry to hear that one of your Nest Hub 2nd Gen isn't working as it should be, especially about the ambient sound white noise, which stops randomly ―let's check it out. A few questions: where and when did you buy your new Nest Hub 2nd Gen? Aside from the white noise, is it also happening when playing a random or requested song? Also, please check other music platforms and see if the music stops randomly. Isolation is needed because the other Nest Hub 2nd Gen is working fine. By the way, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
