Hi Everybody,
I just bought the Chromecast with Google TV (4K). It's been great so far except for one major issue; I can't seem to cast from my phone to the Chromecast using YouTube. I haven't tried casting using any other apps, but I have tried casting the phone screen using the Google Home app, which seems to work perfectly. I've already performed the basic troubleshooting steps: restarted both my phone and the Chromecast, made sure apps were up to date, and made sure both devices are connected to the same WiFi network. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G (NOT the Plus or Ultra model).
I'm not quite sure where to go from here, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll update this post if anything changes. Thanks in advance!

Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out and for taking some steps beforehand — that's a great help! To cover all the bases, please clear the cache and data of the YouTube app and try to cast from a different supported Chromecast-enabled app so we can isolate the issue. Also, use a different mobile device for casting.

That might be a good idea. I wish I knew what fixed the problem; I didn't do anything other than what I previously stated. I just force stopped the YouTube app on both my phone and the Chromecast and tried again and it started working, which is strange because I tried that multiple times before to no avail. Oh well, I'm just glad it's working now.
