Can’t connect with Chromecast using iPhoneX version 15.6

Chromecast worked fine in the past with my iPhoneX but will no longer connect. The only changes are recent iOS software updated to 15.6 and now using Netgear NightHawk router. 
I reset my Chromecast and disabled Nighthawk Armor and rebooted my router and retried several times. 
I have tried everything suggested multiple times but always get the error message telling me “SOMETHING WENT WRONG- CANNOT CONNECT…”

Hi Annie1RN,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Please make sure the Local Network Access is enabled in your phone settings. Also, check your router settings. See the info below:

 

  • Go to your Netgear NightHawk router settings.
  • Disable Access Control.
  • Enable the option Allow guests to see each other and access my local network in the Guest Network Setup.

Note: If you don't know how to do this, contact Netgear support for further assistance.​
