Changed Google Password, now Google TV device wants to enter my long acomplex password with remote

I had to change my Google Password now all 6 of my Google TV devices want me to sign in to my Google account with an onscreen keyboard. Why can't this managed via Home app?

We hear you. While the option to manage it through the Google Home app isn't supported, we'll take this as feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our products and its features. You can also send feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how.
