My chromcast shutts down 3 times or more a day, forcing it to restart over and over again.

Please try to use a different power supply to see if that helps.
You could also try factory reset the device. 🙂

Lrgmarg, we hope that helps, but if you're still having trouble, please plug in your Chromecast on a different HDMI port on your TV and reboot your Wi-Fi router. Plugging it on a different TV screen might also help.
