Chrome cast causing TV flicker

• I've attempted to reboot my chrome cast as it became disconnected and wasn't available on my phone. In the past this has not been an issue. However, now the TV looks like the video below, constantly flickering and never reaching a Home Screen. I've tested the regular cable box out and the TV was working fine so the issue is not with the tv.

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! That flickering issue is no good, I can imagine it makes for a terrible viewing experience, so I'd be happy to help you look into it. Here is what I would recommend you try:

1. Plug the Chromecast into a different HDMI.
2. Test the Chromecast on a different TV to see if the problem persists.
3. Double-check to make sure the TV meets the Chromecast requirements.
