Hi
I have a couple of weeks old Chromecast 4k pro and everytime it wakes from the sleep the cable modem crashes. Cable modem is operator bound and does updates itself. It's couple of years old (latest firmware is from 2020). Anyone else has this issue and how to fix it? Changing modem is not an option because it's a operator device and fully updated. Is the problem chromecast bug or router? (modem is Arris tg2492s).
EDIT: Tested without sleep (power unplug-replug) and it crashes the router the same way. Also tried another chromecast and same happened with it.
EDIT take two: A new test, connected to phone's hotspot and made forgot all previous wifi connections. It still crashes the modem without any connection. Seems like this is a good DoS equipment!

Hey there Susannah,
I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! This is an extremely strange issue, I can't say I've heard of this occurring before. In this case, you may want to reach out to Chromecast Support. Go ahead and fill out this form, and they'll reach out to you via email.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
