Chromecast Can't Reach Google's Servers ONLY When Setting Up Power Button

So I've got a weird issue that's not happening on any of my other devices:

When setting up my new HD Chromecast I can get the Input and Volume buttons working like normal, but when I try to set up the power button it spins the circle for a minute then claims it cannot reach Google's Servers.

Given that it is actively working in every other way, as are all my other home devices AND this feature works on my other Chromecast on a different TV in this house (literally unpaired the remote and set it up again to test), I'm completely stumped as to why this is happening.

Maybe it's got to do with the brand I selected, which is Emerson. I was previously able to set up a different Chromecast on this TV and wifi without issue, including the power button.

Same. Set mine up on a new TV yesterday for power and input buttons. Came back today to also do the volume and got this server issue.

Actually go it to work, just went into setting and manually changed to remote (from "auto cec"?)

Hey there everyone,

I would check the Google Cloud Service Health in your region to see if there are currently any outages or issues. If everything looks good, go ahead and factory reset the Chromecast with Google TV and try setting it up again from scratch. Please tell me if the problem persists afterwards, then we can escalate the issue.

I look forward to your responses, and if anyone has any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.

Best regards,
Jeran
