Chromecast Google TV no light

Device worked well for 2 months. Now there is no signal, the Light is completely Off and can not turn on when plugged with power.

Any suggestions?

If you are getting no light at all, try a different power block and a different power cable (except for the Ultra, all Chromecast devices us standard blocks and cables).

Also, do NOT plug you Chromecast into the TV's USB port.  Those ports are typically underpowered because they are for attaching a data-stick and not for powering small computers like Chromecasts.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I'm sorry, it sounds like the actual Chromecast has failed.  If you've only had it for a couple of months it should still be well under warranty.   Here is the link to Google's hardware warranty center:

Thank you for your input.  Yes had it for 2 months now...unfortunately don't have the receipt lol, got it from Walmart. I did try different power cables ... no light. 😔😔
