Chromecast+ Vodafone TV (GR)

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to download Vodafone TV (GR) app at my Chromecast.

I don't know why this is not possible.

The Big problem is that I can't see it  as a suggested application! 😩

Notify that the app works perfect with my mobile Android phone.

I ve tried reset etc... Nothing!

I'm a good user with good knowledge of Android.

I also want to tell you that I can see all the other similar apps  !

Ex. Cosmote Tv, Ertflix , Disney+...

Another think maybe is useful to know is that the app at my  phone works great as remote control.

For the end...the most strange is that the app Vodafone TV ( GR) works perfect with similar cheap Chinese box Android 8.0 or newer....

If you know Chromecast has Android 12.... 

Please HELP !!

Hi tzouv,

It would be Vodafone that develop the app and decide what devices support installing it. You should be able to see the apps device compatibility within the Google Play store listing.

Please contact Vodafone and request that they make their app available for the Chromecast with Google TV device.

Hi Jean !

Thank you for your response.

The problem solved.

 For an unknown reason to me the application recognized Google Chromecast as a rooted device and denied permission.

They fixed the problem everything ok.
