Chromecast built-in vs Chromecast with Google TV

I'm starting from scratch (no TV yet), but have reasonable technical understanding.

I have seen a TV (Panasonic tx-43lx650bz) that has Chromecast built-in.
My question is whether this will be the same as Chromecast with Google TV?

I've tried asking both the manufacturer and dealers but received no help.

My main concern is that although the TV is 4k, it cannot be assumed that the inbuilt Chromecast will also be 4k (unless 'built-in' is always 4k) but nowhere seems to provide the specification... Also will it receive the same software updates as the dongle version?
Basically, would I be missing anything with the built-in option as it is otherwise attractive.

In my experience, the built in Chromecast usually sucks. It will either have connection issues or lack processing power, much like the apps that come with the tv. A standalone Chromecast is the way to go.

"Chromecast built-in" is just an app to provide the casting/streaming functionality. The app is also preinstalled on the Chromecast with Google TV (4K). The Chromecast now got AndroidTV 12 if you already have a recent Android TV Version (10/11) you don't need the Chromecast.

Look for app update in playstore to make sure you use latest version.
