Chromecast home screen

Hey, I have been using my chromecast for a good few years now with no issue. Tonight the home screen photo was flickering and was not a full picture. I cast a tv show from Amazon Video and, although it took about 5 seconds to settle, played perfectly, the tv is ok too. Is it time for a new chromecast? I do have a photo which would explain it much better but don't know how to upload, if that's possible 🤷‍♀️.

Thanks for reaching out. Please try the steps below:

1. Reboot your Chromecast.
2. Plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV.
3. Plug it in on a different TV screen, if possible.
4. Factory reset your Chromecast.
