I recently switched providers so I have a new wifi. I could not get my chomecast to connect to the new network because it could not find the old network. After forgetting the device in hopes I could reconnect it with said new network, it now won't connect at all and I am not able to use it. When i try to use the built in connection it still is unable to connect. whats the best way to go about this, it is no longer in my google home so I cant go to the settings.

Hello datman,
Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.
A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? When you say that you did forget the device, are you pertaining to factory reset?
Chromecast devices can only remember one Wi-Fi network at a time. If you change your Wi-Fi network and your device isn't currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, perform a factory reset and set up your Chromecast on the new network. You may check this support website article to learn more.
Thanks,
Jennifer
