I had no trouble with setting up the Chromecast until I had to connect the wifi, it saying that something went wrong and to enable local network which I’ve had on the same time and have tried multiple times. The Chromecast is brand new

I dont get it. Did you update your device? What kind of connection did you have before you decided to use Wi-Fi connectivity? Did you try to "forget" last connection and set up a new one?

There has been no TV set up to that chrome cast before it is brand new and the tv has also never had a Chromecast used. I get to the step of connecting the wifi and it says it’s connected but then it says “your device may already be connected but you need to turn on local network in settings” but I already had it on before trying. I’ve tried to set it up many times and each times leads to this problem.
