Chromecast not listed on Home App

I have a Chromecast with Google TV and it's not showing up on Google Home App anymore. It's also lost the CAST icon that shows up on Google Chrome Browser on sites that have that capability.  Yes my Android Phone and Chromecast are on the same Wifi. It was all working till about a month ago. I got a Nest rep that thinks the model I have is built into the TV, and I've told him several times it's a device plugged into one of the HDMI's on the TV.  Something tells me I need to find a different Cast device. Any Help is Much Appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Chromecast with Google TV device do you have, is it the 4K or HD model? What's the LED status on your Chromecast with Google TV? Are you also unable to cast any video content from a Chromecast-enabled app that is downloaded on your phone? Please reboot your Chromecast with Google TV, Wi-Fi router and casting device (mobile phone and laptop). Resetting your Chromecast with Google TV might also help.
