I purchased Chromecast last week at a Toronto area Staples store. It refuses to display the correct time for my Toronto area timezone, from my iPad Pro. It always wants to use Vancouver time instead - 3 hour difference?! It doesn’t matter if I select Chromecast’s automatic timezone feature, nor if I set the timezone manually to Toronto time. It always displays a time exactly 3 hours behind Toronto time. Otherwise, Chromecast appears to work quite OK, including correct display of other info such as Toronto weather and temperature. BTW, my iPad is always set to the correct Toronto timezone & time. And I don’t see anything on the Chromecast box to indicate the product title, other than that it’s 1080p TV compatible, and it’s model # is NC2-6A5. Please advise if there’s any other way to get Chromecast to display the correct time for my Toronto area timezone?

I did the Google Home and Google Maps suggestions, from Cathal_S. Neither one made a difference. Is there some way to simply stop Chromecast from displaying the time, so that I don’t have to see the incorrect time all the time?

Hey there Phlurim,
In this scenario, I would recommend that you go into the Google TV Settings > System > Date & time > Automatic date & time > Off. From here, you can manually set your desired time and time-zone.
