I hope this is the right place to report the following issue with the CCwGTV.
The CCwGTV is having issues with DTS passthrough, specially with the DTS core inside DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio.
It's worth clarifying that the the CCwGTV doesn't support passthrough of DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio codecs BUT, it should be able to passhthrough the DTS core inside them.
However, I mostly use Emby or Jellyfin, and both apps are the best to detect audio passthrough anomalies.
The problem lies specifically when a DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and a DTS-HD Master Audio have 7.1 channels of audio, the DTS core should passthrough but it's not, Emby or Jellyfin are either transcoding the audio to Dolby Digital or decoding it to PCM. However, when those codecs have 5.1 channels of audio, the DTS core passes through correctly.
DTS-ES 6.1 is also not passing through correctly and it's being transcoded to Dolby Digital or decoded to PCM.
I already contacted the developers of both apps and they practically coincide that there is an issue with the firmware in the device that is not allowing the DTS core to be passed through correctly.
Here is a summary of what the CCwGTV currently supports in the audio department:
On the other hand, ever since Android 12 arrived to this device, the Dolby Vision Standard option is still not passing through HDR10, so we always have to select the low latency option to make it work, that should be addressed too.

Hello Jorge, answering your suggestions:
"Verify that the audio output is set to "Passthrough" in both the CCwGTV"
The CCwGTV doesn't have a passthrough option, it only has Auto, None and a manual option, the latter doesn't work so I always use Auto, the same for Emby and Jellyfin, both are set to "Auto" on Emby and "Direct" on Jellyfin.
"Explore advanced audio settings in the CCwGTV for any specific options related to DTS passthrough"
Auto is the recommended setting.
The issue has several months present on the device, please report it to the appropriate team for review.
Thank you!.

Just got this device and only getting pcm stereo inside a 5.1 bitstream so my built-in surround upmix is not effective. The Chromecast dongle works fine.
