I have a chromecast that all of a sudden stopped autoplaying episodes on Disney+ and Netflix.
Expected behaviour: When telling my Google Nest device "Play <name of show>", it should open up the relevant app and start playing the episode automatically.
Actual behaviour: When telling my Google Nest device "Play <name of show>", it opens up the right app but just takes me to the preview and I need to manually on my chromecast remote, hit the start playing button.
This is the same behaviour when telling it to play on the remote itself. It used to work as expected before suddenly stopping.

I also want to note that both devices are updated just now, I've already restarted both, and cleared the app cache for disney+

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! I went ahead and tested this behavior on my device as well, and got the same results. I'm not sure if this change was intentional or not, but if it is something you'd like Google to change back, I would recommend that you submit feedback via Google TV. Google takes all feedback seriously, and the more feedback they receive regarding a particular feature, the more likely they are to prioritize it.
