I got new Wifi. I had to reset my chromecast to this new wifi and since then the device will not show on the list of devices when I click the casting Icon. The chromecast shows that it is connected in the google home app. It’s connected to wifi and will cast the background screensavers on my TV as if it is connected to the internet. However, I cannot cast anything from any device or app. I tried factory reset and unplugging it multiple times with no luck. Help?

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What is the make and model of the device you used to cast? Do you have a dual-band router?
