Chromecast

So basically what I’m trying to do is connect my iPhone to my tv and the Chromecast which is a (1st Gen) chromecast I plugged in everything i need to, to get it going but then as soon as I realise that the chromecast was setup on my old router (which I still do have) So I don’t want to switch from my new one to my old one. And one of the things it says I could do to connect it (in the chromecast app) is to turn off my router and then turn it back on (of which I don’t want to do because I am happy with my new one) So do you have another way

Hi SonicOG,

Thanks for reaching out. Chromecast devices can only remember one Wi-Fi network at a time. If your Chromecast is still connected to an existing Wi-Fi network but you'd like to connect it to a new one, please follow the steps here. If unsuccessful, please factory reset your Chromecast. Here's how.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Hello there,

It's me again. How's it going? Were you able to connect your chromecast to your new network?

Regards,

Jennifer
