Chromecast

I have been using Chromecast to view things on my computer.

Last night I ran into a problem.

I opened Googlechrome

Clicked on the three dots in the upper right hand corner

Scrolled down to CAST

The cast tab opened

I clicked family Room TV - left the sources on family room TV where the Chromecast device is connected  the HDMI port,,,

Normally there would be a link on the toolbar I would click on that would open to my movies are located in a folder is on the computer. It is missing and I don't know to get it back...I would appreciate some help.  Thank you in advance!

Not sure what toolbar you're referring to but 2 thoughts:

1. Open a new Chrome tab, press Ctrl + O to open the file in Chrome
2. Or, you can also use the free VLC software to cast files
