Crome cast remote is not working

Dear Team 

My crome cast remote is not working now. I bought this 8 months before. When iam putting new battery🔋 the remote is heating up. Then I reset my crome cast device now I can't even use this in my tv. Can you please advise what should I do.

If you're happy the batteries are good (try them in another device to test), try these steps:

1. Remove the batteries from the remote.
2. Using your phone or other remote to navigate, go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories.
3. Select your remote and choose to Forget it.
4. Choose Pair remote accessory to start a new pairing.
5. Hold the home button on the remote down and re-insert batteries while holding the button down. 
6. The remote should be detected on the right side of the screen. Use your alternate remote to select it to pair it.

nithinpangl, hope that helps, but if you're still having trouble with your Voice Remote, please replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries and do not use lithium-ion or any other batteries with rated voltage above 1.5 V. Also, do a factory reset on your Voice Remote and Chromecast device, then observe the behavior.
