Does Chromecast with google tv support casting?

Hi,

I am a chromecast 2nd gen user and you know this product allows me to cast freely from my phone and/or laptop. 

I am thinking of buying Chromecast with Google Tv. It looks great and fancy with the Tv system 👌 

However, i would like to know still if i would still have the choice and freedom to cast freely from my phone and or tv? Or i would only be stuck with Google Tv and whatever apps compatible with it?

I tried to do some research but can't find this specific information so appreciate if someone with this experience can help me. Thank you

Hi AnasRAlareqe,

Yes you can cast the same as you can with all other Chromecast devices with the Chromecast with Google TV.
