I am trying to play a Dolby 5.1 movie via Amazon prime video app thru chromecast with google tv. My home threatre supports Dolby 5.1 and I have enabled Dolby in sound settings of chromecast with google tv but still Dolby 5.1 is not working via Amazon prime video whereas I am able to get Dolby 5.1 via plex, Netflix, apple tv apps.
Am I doing something wrong or its a bug in chromecast with google tv.

Are we talking about Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus?

Yes... the issue is still there. Not able to get dolby 5.1 via primevideo from chromecast with google tv. But if I play the same using Dynalink TV box I get 5.1 via prime video app

Hey there Neha,
No problem, let's see if we can dive deeper and figure out where the issue is, I'll just need to ask you some questions to better understand your set-up:
I look forward to your response, and if you had any other questions, please let me know!
Best regards,

Yes I am able to get 5.1 via Netflix, apple tv apps.
Using soundbar of philips.
Tv brand is LG
Yes no matter which ever hdmi slot I am not able to play Dolby 5.1 via prime video app
I am not able to get 5.1 if I play EAC3 encoded audio streams.
Just to point out here. If I connect the same soudbar to Mi Box or DynalinkTV Box I can get 5.1 from prime video app and also I can play eac3 when the soundbar is connected to Mi Box or DynalinkTv but same soundbar doesn't play eac3 or dolby 5.1 while connected to chromecast with google tv.
How to fix this ?
