The app is buggy when it comes to controlling Chromecast devices. I have 6 Chromecast (audio) devices in my home. My home has multiple floors which each have their own wifi AP (all in perfect range), controlled by one Unifi gateway with Multicast DNS enabled. When I run from floor to floor (meshing) the Google Play app gets confused and crashes when I reactivate it. Very irritating if I want to change volume or cast to another Chromecast device. The app almost always crashes when opening it ir when tapping on the "Media" button, this only happens when I'm casting and changed my location to another floor (another AP). I can't find a solution for this and Google is also not helping, just cheap solutions like reset your app settings or phone, which off course do not help.
Anyone one idea how to further debug? This problem is also there on my other 2 phones running another version of Android, so I guess it is not phone related but "Google Home" and "mDNS" related.

Hey there kleajmp,
I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Google Home issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
If possible, would you be able to link a video of this issue occurring, so we can get a better idea of what is happening? I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
