Hello,
I'm having the identical issue in the following closed thread.
https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Chromecast/Google-Home-says-it-s-showing-YouTube-options-on-t...
I believe I have Google Home, Assistant, and Chromecast updated, but not 100% certain about Chromecast. I have restarted everything multiple times and have gotten to the point that I have no more patience in hoping that this will be fixed automatically.
The previous closed thread does not indicate what the solution is at the end of the tread except that it must have been resolved, but perhaps that was said because the user never replied back. Therefore, maybe this issue is still ongoing for many of us even though the thread is closed. Please, tell us the solution.

Hey there drumsticks,
I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! You mentioned that you have a 1st Generation Chromecast, is that correct? If that is the case, then I am sorry to say, but that older device isn't supported with the Google Assistant. You would need a newer generation of Chromecast in order to use that functionality.
I hope that answers your question, and if you have any more questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran
