Whenever I try watching something on Amazon Prime, the picture glitches out and I get a message that says there’s a problem with the HDMI connection but I’m able to stream all the other applications on my TV with no problem. I’m able to see my Amazon Prime account, but as soon as I start to stream is when I get the message

Hi @lena1 my guess would be your TV either has not been updated with a firmware update or can't be updated by the TV manufacturer to support HDCP 2.2 or more which is a minimum for Amazon content. It has nothing to do with your Amazon account.
I would try different ports on your TV as they aren't all the same and one might support the proper CP format required by Amazon.
