Happened to me today.
I open Youtube just to set up some music, was watching my phone for a while after I started it, when I checked I took the remote it was completely stuck... I waited a while (a good 20 minutes) but nothing. So I forced a reboot by removing the power and giving it back...
It never went past the Google Logo and hard reset is not responsive (nothing happens when clicking the button).
How many of view had this happen and was able to recover?

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast with Google TV.
Quick question: what type of Chromecast with Google TV do you have, is it the 4K or HD model? To cover all the bases, could you please reboot your Wi-Fi router and plug in the Chromecast with Google TV on a different HDMI port of your TV? Unplugging it for 24 hours might also help.

Hi.
It's the 4K.
I've another identical Chromecast with Google TV still working.
It works just fine on the same TV and same HDMI port.
Google support told me the device is gone and I cannot repair it.
