I am unable to install the Xfinity Streaming App on my TV with the Google Chomecast connected. Xfinity instructions are to cast for another connected device to my Chromecast connected TV.
Xfinity could not provide a solution and asked that I contact Google Chromecast for a solution.
When trying to cast from my Xfinity Streaming App on any of my connected devices, it does not list the Chromecast connected TV to cast to. I checked that my Chromecast was connected to the same WiFi for my other connected devices that allow the use of my Xfinity Streaming App. I also unplugged both the TV and Chromecast devices for over 1 minute before reconnecting them, with no difference.
I tried connecting using my AnyDesk app and was able to view my phone screen on the TV, but when I tried to load a TV program from my phone using the XFinity Streaming App, it did not permit my show to be viewed using the Xfinity Streaming App installed on my phone.
