Netflix - No Devices Found

Hi! I am new to this group.

I've been using a Google Chromecast Device for a very long time, to watch Netflix. I believe I have the second Generation Google Chromecast. Last weekend, the Google Chromecast worked just fine and this past Saturday and Sunday I am receiving a message when trying to cast my Google Chromecast on Netflix - No Devices Found. Can anyone explain why this has occurred and what can I do to get it working again? I even unplugged it from the back of my 48" Sony Bravia Flat Screen TV (thinking that it might have overheated) and, it still won't work!

Lastly, since it has been a long time when the Chromecast was installed, can anyone explain to me how I need to possibly re-install this item to get it to work, as I believe I used my wife's cell phone but, can't remember how this item was used to watch NetFlix on our TV?

Thanking you all ahead of time.

Hi strtrodder49,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. I suggest you do a full clean-up by performing a factory reset, then setting it up by following this link: Set up your Chromecast device (3rd gen or older). Just choose if you’ll set it up using an Android device or an iOS device.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have other questions.

Thanks,

Kimy
