@djtetei has had some great feedback in this forum.
i’ve been looking for a few weeks now for answers and how to stream audio for Netflix and HBO max.
I can stream from Disney+ and Amazon prime and works fine with Bluetooth headsets from my LG TV or even the Sony Bluetooth transmitter. TV is set for PCM only, and there’s no other settings in all the apps to change any kind of Dolby digital or PCM settings. What can I do to get this to work? Tried iOS, android, same results.
thank you advance

Jeran, thanks for replying. I did go through all these steps. Just discovered over the weekend, and retested it just now it works. I went into the Chromecast settings --> Audio --> and changed the Surround sound mode --> from Auto to AC3 surround sound only and this works for all the different streaming apps.
So I'm good! Hopefully others reading this post will find value.

Hey there Noctivigan,
I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that audio issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as watching shows with no audio doesn't make for a great time. Now, make sure that the Chromecast and the Bluetooth headset are both up-to-date on their firmware. Then, clear out the cached app data on the affected apps. Afterwards, disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth headset.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran
