No eq option in google home app for Chromecast

I'm missing the eq option in google home.

The Chromecast is connected to a dell pc display, sound is played via Bluetooth speaker.

Chromecast version is attached.

 

Phone is pixel 4a android 11

Google home is updated fully as of now.

I tried adding different devices on chromecast and the option did not appear.

Hope to get an answer.

Thanks for reaching out. The equalizer option is only applicable for speakers and displays. For Chromecast devices, the only option is surround sound. To turn on the surround sound on your Chromecast device, please do the following: 

1. Make sure that the mobile device is linked to the same account as the Chromecast.
2. Open the Google Home app.
3. Tap the device card.
4. At the top right, tap Settings.
5. Under Device features, tap Audio > Surround sound.
