My Pixel 4a works well with my logitech bluetooth mouse and keyboard, but to get the best desktop experience I want to get the screen to show on my monitor.
I've got a chromecast which will cast the screen fine, but the mouse cursor on the phone screen does not show on the monitor.
Is there something I can do to get the mouse cursor to show on the cast?

Hey there Pete_UK,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that cursor issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, just let me know, and I can look into this issue further, since I imagine it's pretty difficult to use the mouse without the cursor.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Pete_UK and Tiberius,
Sorry for the late response. Could you please try to use a different Android phone and test? Using a different Bluetooth mouse and rebooting your mobile phone and Chromecast might also help.
Thanks for the help, Jeran.
Thanks,
Jennifer
